On June 1, 2017, the Embassy of Peru in Serbia, with residence in Romania, organized a workshop to promote the Peruvian culture within the high school students of philology from the Filoloska Gimnazija school in Belgrade, Serbia.
It is worth mentioning that the said school is one of the only two in Serbia specialized in foreign languages teaching, as Spanish, English, Italian, German, Persian, Latin and Arabic, enjoying a very good reputation in this area of activity.
In the aforementioned context, a presentation of the culture, history and geography of our country, including information about the citadel of Caral, the Nazca Lines, the Lord of Sipan, the Inca culture, Machu Picchu, lake Titicaca, as well about the flora, fauna and traditional dances in our country, was carried out.
