On 2nd, 3rd and 4th of the current month, in the outdoor premises of Romexpo Exhibition Centre was hosted a great festival centered on cultural issues, which benefited from the participation of more than 40 entities, including embassies, international organizations and international cultural institutes based in Bucharest.
The Peruvian stand, which was provided by the Embassy of Peru, promoted tourism to our country, through the dissemination of videos and distributing leaflets in Romanian and English. It also exposed various handicraft products that have aroused the interest of the numerous public present at the festival. In the artistic and musical show, which was held parallel to the event, was presented the group “Sin Fronteras” who sang traditional Andean songs of our country.
On the other hand, in the studio of the National Peasant Museum,on 2nd and 3rd of September were projected the Peruvian movies “Doblejuego” and “Pantaleón y lasvisitadoras”. In addition, on the 3rd and 4th of this month, the Embassy organized a workshop about the culture of Peru to children and adolescents, in which information was provided about Caral, Sipan, the Nazca Lines, Inca Empire, flora, fauna, geography and dances in Peru.
These events were held in the “Festival of Embassies”, organized by ESCUAssociation (Education, Society, Culture, Humanity), under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Romania, National Cultural Fund Administration and the Municipality of Bucharest.
