Aiming to spread the rich cultural heritage of our country, on November 18th, with the presence of the State Secretary (Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in Romania), Carmen Burlacu, and the General Manager of the National Library of Romania, Claudia Șerbănuță, was achieved the inauguration ceremony for Quapaq Nan photo exhibition, composed of 47 photographs of different sections of Inca Road of Peru and places related to it, including Huánuco, Pampa, Caral, Chan Chan, Huaca del Sol, El Brujo, the Nazca lines, Choquequirao, Pachacamac, Titicaca Lake, Machu Picchu and Qeswachaqa Bridge.
The Ambassador of Peru in Romania showed that this photo demonstration, showing great cultural development of the Incas, can serve as a beginning for a better knowledge of our peoples. In turn, Director of the National Library of Romania noted the importance of this exhibition that allows Romanian citizens to get closer to the great legacy of the Andean pre-Hispanic civilization which had its center in Peru.
The numerous public who assisted, including the diplomatic bodies, Peruvian community in Bucharest, managers of cultural institutes, cultural media, tour operators and university students enjoyed piscosur and a variety of gourmet samples that were offered at the reception of this event inauguration.
Nan Qapaq photo exhibition will remain open to the public for three weeks until December 9th, at the headquarters of the National Library of Romania.
