On Wednesday, May 31, 2017, and on Thursday, June 01, 2017, the Peruvian movies ”A los 40” and ”Climas” were presented at the Cultural Center of Belgrade, Serbia, one of the most representative spaces in the said capital. The screening of the two Peruvian movies was made within the framework of the Xth edition of the Film Festival in Spanish of this city, named ”Hispanometraje” (Spanski Metar, in Serbian). It is worth mentioning that the two motion pictures, as well as their translation to Serbian, were provided by the Embassy of Peru in Serbia.
The said festival is organized every year by the Instituto Cervantes in this capital and in 2017 took place between May 21 and June 01, 2017 and counted on the participation of 17 motion pictures from Peru, Spain, Argentina and Mexico, besides the screening of shorts and documentaries and the presentation of the Spanish singer Ana Belén, as special guest.
In that regard, it must be highlighted that the Peruvian Embassy took part in the closing session of the aforementioned festival, where the movie ”Climas”, directed by the Peruvian Enrica Pérez, was presented. Before the screening of this movie, the Embassy had a little speech, emphasizing the cultural and historical wealth of Peru, reflected in the quality and variety of its movie industry, with productions which have been developing and won various international awards in the last years.
