On Friday the 4th and Saturday, the 5th of September, Children’s World Park (Parcul Lumea Copiilor) hosted a great fair of cultural diffusion, with the participation of representatives of more than 50 entities, including embassies, international organizations and international cultural institutes based in Bucharest.
The Peruvian stand, under the responsibility of the Embassy of Peru in Romania, promoted tourism through the dissemination of videos and distribution of brochures with information about tourist circuits in the North and South of our country. Also, promotional announcements were divided about travel packages to Peru, prepared by a well-known Romanian travel agency.
Also, there were displayed different samples of crafts that have aroused the attention of numerous public visiting this festival. The musical artistic show, which was held parallel to the event, presented the band “Sin Fronteras” who sang songs of traditional Andean music in our country.
Organizers estimated that the fair was attended by around 15,000 people. This event was conducted during the so-called “Festival of embassies”, organized by Escu Association (Education, Society, Culture and Humanity), with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Romania.
