On September 9 and 10, 2017, the Titan Park hosted an important festival of cultural dissemination, with the participation of more than 50 entities, including embassies, international organizations and international cultural institutes headquartered in Bucharest.
In the Peruvian stand arranged by the Embassy of Peru, the tourism to our country was promoted, through the presentation of videos and the distribution of brochures in Romanian and English. Furthermore, various samples of Peruvian handicrafts were exhibited and aforementioned samples attracted the attention of the numerous persons that visited this festival. In the musical show, which was held in parallel to this event, the group “Sin Fronteras” performed songs from the traditional Andean music of our country.
On the other hand, the Peruvian Embassy participated in the collective exhibition of photographs about traditional costumes, highlighting the costumes used in the patron saint festivities of Cusco and Puno. The said exhibition took place at the Grand Hotel du Boulevard. Likewise, on September 10, 2017, at Cinema Pro, the Peruvian movie “El destino no tiene favoritos” was screened, with Romanian subtitles.
The aforementioned events took place in the framework of the third edition of ”The Embassies Festival”, organized by the Association Escu (Education, Society, Culture and Humanity) under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), Administration of the National Culture Fund and the Bucharest City Hall.
