At the ceremony of taking the oath by ministers, which took place on July 28th, at the Government Palace by President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, Ambassador Ricardo Luna was sworn in, becoming the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru.
The new Minister of Foreign Affairs had a diplomatic career and was Ambassador of Peru in the United States, in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and occupied the position of Permanent Representative of Peru to the United Nations in New York . Previously, he worked in the diplomatic missions in Tel Aviv, Geneva, Washington D.C., Quito and New York.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ricardo Luna has a bachelor degree in International Relations from the University of Princeton (New Jersey); a Master Degree in International Relations from Columbia University (New York) and a bachelor degree in International Relations at the Diplomatic Academy of Peru. He was a professor of Princeton University, Harvard, Brown, Columbia, Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and of the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris (Sciences Po), from Paris.
